SUMMER TEMPORARY POSITIONS AT STORA ENSO SKOGHALL AND FORSHAGA

Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable world while gaining valuable work experience for the future? As a summer temp, you play a significant role in our operations. We believe that well-being in the workplace is based on focusing on safety, taking personal responsibility, and having fun with your colleagues. As a summer temp, you will also be part of the journey that Stora Enso is on - transforming from a traditional forestry company to a growth company in renewable materials - an industry with great potential driven by global megatrends. The summer temp position is a great foot in the door and a step for your continued career with us!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for summer temps for several different roles at the Skoghalls mill office and the Forshaga factory. Here you will have the opportunity to work with us in one of the following roles:

Lab

In the lab, there are roles for those who want to work with quality control. For example, you can work as a Lab Technician with tasks such as quality control of produced cardboard and ensuring that our instruments are correctly calibrated. You will also be responsible for reviewing the quality in the cardboard mill's processes, the pulp process, emissions, and recycling systems.

Master Planning

Responsible for ensuring that the machine process occurs according to orders through planning, optimizing operations, follow-up, reconciliation, and control. You work closely with production to inform about stoppages and establish operating orders while having daily contact with several units at the mill. We need summer temps for this role in both Skoghall and Forshaga.

Technical Customer Service Manager

Responsible for technical customer service, acting as the hub between the customer and the mill.

Material Planner

Responsible for ensuring that the materials needed for cardboard production are available. You plan based on forecasts and order deliveries in close collaboration with various suppliers. Your responsibilities also include handling goods receipts and invoices.

Maintenance Engineer in Automation & Mechanics

The work involves updating and creating life cycle analyses (LCA), conducting technical investigations, and adjusting and improving the content in SAP. It also involves improving the facility by adjusting service intervals for automation equipment (UH plans) and creating impact analyses for larger repairs and investments.

Application Administrator Plant Data

The work involves administering data where you have the opportunity to make a difference through creative work in data transfer, where you can contribute your expertise on various applications.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We believe you are an engaged and driven person who has the desire to develop and thrives in a changing environment. Furthermore, you take responsibility for performing your tasks in accordance with our values and always prioritize safety. We value your ability to work both in a team and independently, as well as having a structured approach and control over your tasks. For the positions, a good analytical ability is required to foresee and understand events related to the operations.

We are looking for someone who is studying or has previously studied and completed a post-secondary education in industrial economics, production technology, transport and planning, sales & marketing, production planning, or material planning within the process industry, or another corresponding engineering education in a relevant field. It is advantageous if you have prior experience with similar tasks as the role entails. Furthermore, we would like you to have good system skills, preferably in MS Office, and that you find it easy to familiarize yourself with new systems.

Basic requirements for the position:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are available and can work during the holiday period from May/June to August/September

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
